Round the Dornoch Firth

A route of ever changing views from Dornoch around the Head of the Dornoch Firth, a National Scenic Area. Distance - about 35 miles. Allow 4 hours for stops, photographs and tea at Ardgay.

 Leave Dornoch Square and head West.
Turn Left at the Church Hall at the end of the Main Street.
Turn Left at the A9 T-junction to cross the Dornoch Bridge
 At roundabout, 3rd exit to Edderton and Ardgay
 Turn Left at Edderton and climb hill past Primary school
 Turn Right at T-junction with Struie Road to reach viewpoint over Firth
 Downhill and Left at T-junction to Ardgay
Stop for tea and cake at the Lady Ross Roadhouse, Ardgay
 Left (continue) from Lady Ross to Bonar Bridge
 Bear Right through Bonar Bridge towards Dornoch
Straight on through Spinningdale and Clashmore towards Dornoch
 Turn Left at the A9 T-junction towards Dornoch
 Turn Right to Dornoch
Finish at the Square, Dornoch
